Paraffin 64-66 (High Melting Point)

Mineral paraffin wax with the highest melting point in our range (64-66 ºC), supplied in slabs. It is the right choice for wax lanterns made with the slush-casting (hollowing) technique and for very hard, smooth, opaque decorative candles that burn slowly.

Tips for use

To make hollow-cast wax lanterns:

• Melt the paraffin in a pan over low heat and apply mould release to the mould.
• Pour a little paraffin into the bottom of the mould and let it set.
• Fill the mould completely and leave it for 15-20 minutes.
• Use a cutter to remove the layer of set wax at the top and pour out the remaining liquid paraffin.
