Pure Soy Wax 46

Pure soy wax 46 is a partially hydrogenated plant-based container wax with a low melting point (45-47 °C). It is soft, has good thermal stability and, according to its specification, is also used in the cosmetics sector, for example to make massage candles.

• Low-melt container candles.

Usage tips

• Melt the soy wax 46 (with the butters and vegetable oils if you are making massage candles) in a double boiler or over low heat.
• Add the fragrance or essential oil, up to 7%. If using mineral pigments, first mix them in a mortar with a few drops of oil to avoid lumps.
• Fill the container and wait until it starts to set; when the top layer is solid, place the wick in the centre.
