Description
Description
BPF soy wax is a low-melt-point plant-based wax designed specifically for container candles. It works at low temperatures, holds fragrance well and leaves a smooth surface with a clean, soot-free burn.
Features
- Type: BPF soy wax (low melting point), 100% plant-based and paraffin-free.
- Fragrance load: 8-10%, without affecting consistency.
- Working melt temperature: up to about 70 °C.
- Smooth pouring and a smooth finish.
- Can be blended with coconut wax or rapeseed wax to adjust hardness, gloss or scent throw.
- Storage: cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Sizes: from 1 kg to 500 kg; for more than 500 kg, ask for a custom quote.
Recommended uses
- Scented candles in glasses, jars or any container.
- Not suitable for moulded candles or figures: use APF (high melting point) soy wax for those.
- Beginners and crafters with the 1-2 kg packs; brands and manufacturers with the 20 kg to 500 kg sizes.
Usage tips
- Melt the wax slowly in a double boiler or microwave to about 70 °C.
- Add fragrance at 8-10% and stir well. If using dye, follow the dosage indicated for that dye.
- Pour into the container and let it cool gradually; centre the wick when the wax starts to set.
- Let it cool completely somewhere free of draughts.
Volume-based pricing: the larger the pack size, the lower the price per unit. We ship to Spain and across the European Union.
