Wax for moulded candles and figures

Wax for moulded candles needs to be harder than container wax: it has to hold its shape without a vessel, shrink slightly as it cools so it releases easily, and keep the details of the mould. It is the wax you need for pillar candles, taper candles, figures and decorative pieces.

Which wax to choose

• APF mouldable soy wax: plant-based and hard (melting point 57-63 °C), with a natural matte finish. Takes up to 8% fragrance.
• Premium soy wax for figures: soy with technical additives (melting point 52-58 °C) that keeps relief well in 3D figures, busts or flowers.
• Paraffin: medium melting point (56-58 °C), smooth and even finish, high compatibility with fragrances and dyes.

Quick tips

Pour between 65 and 70 °C, let the piece cool completely before unmoulding and use silicone moulds for the most detailed shapes. Available from 1 kg, with a lower price per kilo the larger the pack. Standard delivery in 24/48 h.
