Wick threader

Wick threader for passing the wick through candle moulds, especially silicone moulds, quickly and cleanly. It is a metal rod with a wide-eye needle at the tip and a wooden handle, leaving the wick centred and straight without tangling or breaking it.

Usage tips

• Thread the wick through the eye of the threader's needle.
• Insert the threader into the mould, making sure the wick is centred.
• Use the tip to make a small hole in the base of the mould for the wick to come through.
• Carefully pull the threader out, leaving the wick in position.
• Secure the wick at the top of the mould with a wick holder or clip before pouring the wax.
