White Beeswax

Beeswax that has been refined and bleached by physical processes, losing its yellow colour and honey scent while keeping the functional properties of beeswax. Its neutral profile makes it a clean base for cosmetics, white candles and products with soft fragrances or no scent.

Recommended uses

Tips for use

• Cosmetics: melt in a double boiler with the oils, work at 65-70 ºC and add actives and fragrances at 50-55 ºC. Typical dosage 3-15% (balms 8-12%, creams 3-5%).
• Candles: melt at 70-75 ºC, add fragrance at 65 ºC, pour and let cool slowly to avoid cracks.
• Blends well with oils, butters and vegetable waxes, and takes dyes.
• It contains no preservative: use it in anhydrous products or add a preservative if the formula contains water.
