Description
Microcrystalline wax for cosmetics is a white, food-grade mineral wax with a melting point of 69-75 ºC, supplied in slabs. It is mainly used in the cosmetics industry to make petroleum jelly (vaseline), and also in hot-melt adhesives, chewing gum base and sealants. It offers mechanical strength, water and acid resistance, thermal and chemical stability, and resistance to oxidation.
