Brown candle dye

Brown candle dye in solid block form for colouring candle wax and wax melts. It offers earthy shades, from light caramel to chocolate brown, common in gourmand, coffee or woody candles. It dissolves in hot wax and is dosed by percentage, from soft tints to intense colours.

Tips for use

• Melt the wax in a double boiler or over low heat.
• Remove from the heat and add the dye while the wax is still liquid, following the percentage chart.
• Stir until the colour is even, pour into the mould or container and let it cool and set completely.
• Start with a small amount and add more if needed; for a lighter shade, add more uncoloured wax.
• For a more intense colour, add the dye once the wax has cooled slightly.
• The final shade may vary slightly depending on the wax type, fragrance and pouring temperature.
