How do you calculate the amount of fragrance?
Fragrance load is normally expressed as a percentage of the wax weight. For example, if a formula uses 8% fragrance and you work with 1,000 g of wax, the fragrance quantity would be:
1,000 g × 0.08 = 80 g of fragrance

- Total wax: 180 g × 12 = 2,160 g.
- Fragrance at 7%: 2,160 g × 0.07 = 151.2 g.
Before producing the full batch, confirm that 7% is compatible with the wax and fragrance used. If it is a new formula, run a small test first.

- Weigh every ingredient; do not work in “drops” or visual estimates.
- Always use the same container in comparative tests.
